Rivian and EV charging providers join Tesla`s NACS charger bandwagon

EV truck maker Rivian will start building vehicles with the NACS connector in 2025, adding another company to Tesla`s Supercharger-compatible network. Meanwhile, practically every company that builds EV chargers is also adopting the connector.If you`d asked me back in November 2022 when Tesla announced they were `opening the North American Charging Standard` — making the previously proprietary Tesla charigng connector available to other manufacturers — I would`ve told you that I didn`t expect much to come of it.
